On March 20, 2025, Victoria Hospital proudly received the Regional Gender Equality Assessment, Results, and Strategies (GEARS) Award at the Women in Business / Unleash Her Potential 2025 event, held at Melia Hotel, Yangon. The event was jointly organized by the Business Coalition for Gender Equality (BCGE) and AustCham Myanmar. Victoria Hospital is honored to be the first hospital in Myanmar to receive this prestigious award.
Women in Business / Unleash Her Potential 2025 is an event that celebrates organizations in Myanmar that promote gender equality in the workplace, encourage equal participation of women and men, provide leadership opportunities, and recognize the achievements of successful women in business.
Victoria Hospital earned this recognition due to the visionary leadership of CEO Dr. Daw Aye Aye San and the management team, the strong commitment and discipline of its staff, and its adherence to the standards set by the Business Coalition for Gender Equality (BCGE).
