Key Responsibilities
1. Accountability
Supervise and manage nursing care delivery for Nurses, PCAs, Attendants, and Special Nurses.
Ensure high standards of care, safety, and compassion for all patients.
Cultivate a culture of clinical excellence and patient-centered care.
2. Communication
Maintain effective communication with the CMO.
Promote clear, respectful, and efficient communication within all nursing teams.
3. Clinical Operations
Lead daily clinical meetings with Sisters and Nursing In-Charges.
Conduct patient rounds and address patient concerns and safety.
Lead investigations and RCA for safety events.
Collaborate with the Training Department for nursing development programs.
Provide daily reporting and critical patient updates to the CMO.
Participate in nurse recruitment and orientation of new staff.
4. Administrative Duties
Oversee manpower planning and monthly rosters.
Supervise workflow adherence to JDs and SOPs.
Address patient complaints and special nurse arrangements.
Ensure timely reporting of staffing and operational needs.
Attend medical and department head meetings.
5. Other Responsibilities
Audit nursing documentation and ensure compliance with hospital standards.
Support quality improvement and hospital accreditation processes.
Qualifications
Bachelorโs Degree in Nursing (BNSc); Master’s in Nursing or Healthcare Management is an advantage.
Valid nursing license/registration.
Minimum 7 years of nursing experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
Excellent leadership, clinical, and administrative skills.
Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
