In honor of World Stroke Day 2025, Victoria Hospital, in collaboration with the Rotaract Club of Myanmar Metro Youth, organized a Free Health Care & Donation Program for the elderly at Shwe Metta (Taung Kote) Elderly Care Home, located in Sin Phon Village, Hlegu Township, and for the nearby community residents.
During the program, free medical checkups were provided, including blood pressure measurement, ECG testing, blood sugar and cholesterol level checks, basic neurological examinations, and health education sessions.
Additionally, Dr. Zar Ni Myint Shwe, Consultant Neurologist, led an informative health talk focusing on stroke prevention and neurological well-being.
Apart from the medical services, essential medications and daily living supplies were also donated to the elderly at Shwe Metta (Taung Kote) Home.
This initiative is part of Victoria Hospital’s CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) programs, dedicated to promoting elderly care, community health, and public awareness. The event reflects our commitment to improving health knowledge and supporting healthier lifestyles among people in Myanmar.
We are pleased to share some meaningful moments from this special day, celebrating World Stroke Day 2025 with acts of kindness, free healthcare, and community support.
